About Us

Choptank Cruises is owned and operated by Captain Tanner Stoker from Cambridge, Maryland. Tanner earned his Master's License with Towing Endorsement in the summer of 2022 from the Annapolis School of Seamanship. After garnering the license, he chartered an 18-passenger dinner cruise boat in St. Michaels, Maryland for two seasons. ​

Tanner wanted to deliver the experiences from Saint Michaels to the city where he was born and raised. The search for a perfect cruise boat began. In September of 2023, his search led to the purchase of a 23' C-Hawk center console. Shortly after, brainstorming the new layout and remodeling of the vessel began. Roughly 7 months later, the vision finally came to life.
